What’s an ask?
One request you type, or say while holding Control + Option. “Make the text bigger” is one ask. Free includes 20 a month; Springle and Springle Family have unlimited asks, within fair use. Scam checks are never counted.
What happens when I run out?
Springle gives you a heads-up at 80%, and never stops in the middle of a task. If your talk time runs out, you can keep going by holding Control + Option, because asks don’t use talk time. You can also add a talk top-up, and everything resets on the 1st of the month.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes: the free plan is free forever, with 20 asks and 4 minutes of talk time every month. Upgrade whenever you want more.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, and Free is always there to fall back on. Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record.
How does Family work, and who is the helper?
Springle Family covers two people, each on their own Mac, sharing 4 hours of talk time a month. The helper is someone they trust, often the person who’s already the family’s IT desk, who gets an email if Springle spots a scam. The person using Springle chooses their helper and approves them, so it’s always their call. After buying, open Settings → Plan → Invite in Springle to send your family member their code.
What do helper alerts include?
What Springle spotted, like a suspicious email or a fake pop-up. Never what’s on their screen.
Does Springle see my screen?
Only while it’s helping you. Text on screen that tries to give Springle instructions is ignored, and it never installs remote-access tools.
Do unused minutes roll over?
No. Allowances reset on the 1st of each month. Talk top-up hours are different: they never expire.
Is Springle only for the Mac?
Yes. Springle lives in your Mac’s notch, and runs on macOS.
Is there a discount for organisations?
Plans for organisations are coming in 2028. If you’d like to talk about it sooner, get in touch.
Does my plan include Springbase?
No. Springbase is a separate AI workspace from the same team, with its own plans and credits, and it has a free plan. Linking it to Springle is optional. Anything Springle hands to Springbase uses your Springbase credits, never your Springle asks or talk time.
