HelpPlans & account

Three plans. Start free.

Free, Springle and Springle Family: what each costs, what counts as an ask, how talk time works, and what’s included.

Springle has a Free plan and two paid plans. There’s no free trial: the Free plan is how you try Springle, and it stays free for good. Paid plans can be monthly or yearly, and yearly works out at two months free.

Every plan includes Guide me and Do it for me, the notebook and reminders, the tour and the Practice Desk. The full side-by-side list is on the pricing page.

Prices are in US dollars, plus tax where it applies. In some countries, including India, you’ll see the price in your own currency at checkout, before you pay. Payments are handled by Paddle, our payment partner.

What counts as an ask

An ask is one request you type, or say while holding ⌃ control ⌥ option. "Make the text bigger" is one ask. Free includes 20 a month; Springle and Springle Family have unlimited asks, within fair use.

These are never counted, on any plan:

  • Scam checks, such as "is this email real?" or "someone called saying they’re from my bank"
  • Yes and No answers, and stopping Springle
  • The safety gate and approvals
  • The first tour and the Practice Desk

What talk time is

Talk time is the time spent in a spoken conversation with Springle, the back-and-forth kind. Holding ⌃⌥ to ask one thing doesn’t use talk time; it counts as an ask instead. So when talk time runs out, you can keep asking by voice that way.

See Running low or out for what happens near the limit, and for talk top-ups.

Explanations

An explanation is the fuller answer Springle writes when you ask it to go deeper. Free includes 3 a month, and paid plans are unlimited. See Keep and Go deeper.

Your plan in Settings

Settings › Plan on the Springle plan
  1. The plan you’re on, monthly or yearly, and when it renews.
  2. Manage opens Paddle’s page for your subscription: payment details, switching or cancelling.
  3. On Springle, a row offers Springle Family, with a Switch button.
  4. This month’s use: asks, talk time (with any hours you bought), and explanations.
  5. Scam checks are always free.
  6. When your allowances reset.

Open Settings › Plan to see where you stand. The talk time you have left also shows at the foot of the Settings sidebar on every page.

On the Free plan

Settings › Plan on Free
  1. Yearly or Monthly switches the prices shown.
  2. Choose Family or Choose Springle opens checkout in your browser.
  3. Your Free plan, and the day your allowances reset.

To upgrade, see Upgrade, switch or cancel.

Resets and roll-over

Allowances reset on the 1st of each month (UTC), on monthly and yearly plans alike. Unused asks, talk time and explanations don’t roll over. Talk top-up hours are different: they never expire.

Is Springbase included?

No. Springbase is a separate product with its own plans and credits. Linking it is optional, and anything sent to it uses your Springbase credits, never your Springle asks or talk time.
